Background |
Click on the color swatch to select a background color for your web pages. The standard color picker window comes up to select a color. Lighter colors often look better as the background for pictures. Click on the Use background image check box to select an image as the background for your web pages. The selected background image will be displayed in the Preview area. Turn on Don't scroll the background image to make the background image to stay fixed in place while the remainder of the page content (pictures and text) to move over top of it (try this, it is easier to see than describe!). Even though you select a background image you should also select a background color for your web pages. Some web browsers allow the user to turn off background images. |
Custom Link Colors | Turn on the Use custom link colors check box to allow selection of colors for links, active links and visted links. The link color is used for text and picture borders (when that option is turned on, see Thumbnail Options) links that have not been followed (clicked on). The active link color is used when a link is being clicked on. The visited link color is used for links that have been followed. |
